Full spectrum protection
Zinc oxide is the only UV filter that offers full spectrum protection against both sunburn and deep skin damage which leads to aging, pigmentation, and skin cancer.
Zinc oxide’s molecular structure and size allows it to reflect UVA I (400-340mm), UVA II (320-340-320mm) and UVB (320-280mm).
Most chemical filters only cover limited UV ranges and require combinations to achieve full spectrum protection. Zinc oxide covers the entire UV ranges by itself.
Photostable and long lasting
Zinc oxide and Titanium dioxide do not degrade when exposed to sunlight which reduces the need for reapplication.

How it works
Ulu Lab sunscreen works by forming a protective layer on the skin’s surface. This mineral barrier reflects both UVA and UVB rays which can damage the epidermis and dermis during prolonged sun exposure. As long as this barrier remains intact on the skin, you are shielded from UV rays.
In contrast, many conventional sunscreens utilize chemical filters that work by absorbing harmful rays beneath the skin’s surface. For these filters to maintain their effectiveness over an extended period, they typically need to be reapplied every 20 to 30 minutes. Precious time that high-performance athletes can’t afford.
